The Role:
This occupation reports to the Sales Manager (located in Tokyo).
Logicool is looking for a Key Account Manager to grow Logicool business (Mice, Keyboards, Gaming, Tablet Accessories etc.. ) off-line channel in Kansai Area. By doing so, the Key Account Specialist will expand our business with distributors and direct retailers there by driving revenue growth and gaining market share.

- Own quarterly revenue and margin targets for the assigned Offline account(s), ensure that these targets are met or exceeded and increase market share.
- Propose, negotiate and drive execution of the business process of account(s) specific valuable and fixed sales and marketing investment towards business growth within assigned amount and/or ROI.
- Understand and implement key operational initiatives as required. Such initiatives may be in the areas of pricing, forecasting, business planning, off-line merchandising, etc.
- Work closely with the product marketing and brand marketing managers to understand their marketing plans. You ensure that your business plans for your accounts are aligned with the marketing plans and execute them in proper and effective manner.
- Understand the customer & consumer behavior and deal with possible conflicts with channels. Develop the retail merchandizing plans, execute them by utilizing the limited resources in terms of space, time and budget and maximize the sales.
- Drive aggressively the business towards a sell-through/sell-out focus.
Your Skills:
For consideration, you must bring the following skills and behaviors to our team:
- Strong business acumen: detailed and synthetically mindset and strong sell out/sell through focus and inventory management, from planning, execution to review process.
- Have sales/account management experience and outstanding achievement with existing retailer with focus on sell out/sell through and inventory management.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
- Solid presentation & negotiation skills aligned with excellent inter-personal communication skills, including senior management.
- Proven track record of achieving challenging targets consistently; energetic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- 5+ years of account management experience in IT or CE environment with a recognized A-brand company in the highly competitive environment. Experience to deal with Edion and Johshin is definitely a plus. We may also consider candidates from other sectors where those sectors are heavily focused on sell-through activity & local demand generation (i.e. FMCG sector, large scale drag chain store)
- Strong analytical mindsets and capacity, with advanced EXCEL skills
- Organizational savvy team player to understand how to get things done in a matrix organization internally/externally.
- Self-management skills and self-started attitude highly valued
- Native level Japanese. English is not required, but conversation level English is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance is a plus
