Multi Award Winning Nursery-Stodels is looking for a dynamic, physically fit Receiving/Security Manager to lead the Security department at the Bergvliet Garden Centre. The position will report directly to the Branch Manager.
MAIN DUTIES:
· To be responsible and accountable for the security of buildings and all the saleable and non-saleable assets within the branch.
· Administration of perpetual stock take.
· Check stock leaving the premises for delivery or transfer
· To observe for theft and safety issues
· Measure security standard of till area
· Responsible for security of buildings, setting burglar alarms, locking up in evenings, checking that fences and the perimeter are secure
· Monitor and control access to the buildings in the mornings and evenings
· Supervise and train security assistant
· Ensure the smooth running of the parking area and stock arrivals.
REQUIREMENTS:
· 2 – 3 Years experience in Receiving and Security
· Physically fit
· Ability to multi-task and be highly organised
· Supervisory experience
· Must be self-motivated and assertive
· Excellent communication skills
· Have a eye for detail (Safety & Security)
